Data Networks
A network that doesn't drop the call.
Cat6A and Cat7 structured cabling, fibre backbones, managed switches and Wi-Fi 6E that actually covers the whole building. We design networks like installers, not resellers.

What's included
Everything in one quote.
Below is the full scope of what we deliver under the data networks banner. Most clients pick a subset — we'll talk through which parts make sense for your building and budget on the first visit.

Structured cabling
Cat6A and Cat7A copper, OS2 single-mode fibre, certified to TIA/ISO standards. Every drop tested and labelled — no surprises behind the patch panel.

Comms-room build
Racks, patch panels, PDUs and tidy-as-you-go cabling. We hand over a labelled, photo-documented rack on every job.

Managed Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points sited from a heatmap survey. Roaming, captive portal and per-SSID VLAN configured.

Switching & VLANs
Managed PoE+ switches, segmented VLANs for IoT, voice and guest, plus monitoring you can read without a degree.
Our process
From walk-through to handover.
Survey
Site walk plus heatmap if Wi-Fi is in scope. We mark every drop on the floor plan.
Design
Topology drawing, BoM and labelled patch schedule before we order anything.
Install
Cabling pulled, terminated and certified. Rack built to a published photo standard.
Document
Test reports, IP plan and handover pack — including labelled photos of the rack.
Case study
Co-working space, Friedrichshain
A 2,200 m² co-working operator needed reliable Wi-Fi for 250 simultaneous users plus segmented networks for IoT, AV and fire panels. We installed a Cat6A backbone with 24 Wi-Fi 6E APs and a managed-VLAN core that has not had a single unplanned outage.

Common questions
You asked, we answered.
Don't see your question? Drop us a line — a real engineer will reply within one working day.
Cat6A or Cat7?
For 99% of buildings, certified Cat6A is the right answer — same throughput, easier termination, lower cost. We only specify Cat7 when there is a documented EMI or distance reason.
Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7?
Wi-Fi 6E hardware is mature and well-priced today. Wi-Fi 7 makes sense for new builds with a 5+ year roadmap. We'll talk you through the trade-off without pushing the newer thing.
Can you take over from another contractor?
Yes. We re-survey, re-document and re-certify. About a third of our work is rescuing networks from the previous installer.
Do you do remote monitoring?
Yes — most clients on a maintenance contract get 24/7 remote monitoring with quarterly written health reports.
